Incident Narrative

On September 1, 2020, at approximately 8:00 p.m., an employee was working on conduit for a new installation from the platform of a scissor lift that was not yet elevated when it came in contact with (and was dragged by) a rotary dryer. The employee was crushed between the scissor lift and the rotary blower, suffering fractures on his mandible, clavicle, and right orbital bone. He was hospitalized.
