Incident Narrative

An employee was next to the "little blue cars" at a shipyard. When the cars were pushed under a strongback (a wooden block) that was supporting a unit, the block was pushed off and fell onto the employee's left hand. He suffered a partial amputation of the middle fingertip, as well as open fractures of the middle and ring fingers.
