Incident Narrative

An employee was assisting with moving crane mats. When the excavator moved onto a crane mat, the mat shifted and the employee fell from the mat to the ground. He landed on his side on the flange of a steel beam that was laying on the ground. The employee sustained a laceration on his eyebrow and broken ribs.
