Incident Narrative
An employee was working in the pit under a vehicle. While using a two-handed tool to loosen a bolt on the vehicle, the tool hit the front passenger-side tire. The tool then pinched the employee's finger against the vehicle's skid plate resulting in a partial amputation to the middle finger on the left hand. The vehicle was not moving, but the tires were rotating at the time.
