An employee was pulling down the hood of a sprayer and had one foot on the step and one foot on the sprayer frame. The employee was hooking up the strap to the crane on the service truck when the employee's foot slipped. The employee fell from the sprayer and struck the ground, breaking the hip socket and requiring surgery.
