Incident Narrative
An employee was using a transport dolly to maneuver a metal frame from one area of the plant to another when the base of the metal frame started to slip off the dolly. The employee's left hand was in the pinch point zone, and the metal frame contacted the employee's hand. The employee's left ring finger was lacerated, resulting in the surgical amputation of the fingertip.
