Incident Narrative

An employee was dumping a 55-gallon drum into a galvanizing trough with the assistance of a cab-operated crane. As the drum was dumping, the employee's thumb was pinched between the drum and the galvanizing trough. The employee suffered a broken left thumb that required surgery.
