Incident Narrative

An employee was changing the transfer paper roll on the back of a blanket press when her right arm became trapped under a large, heavy pin and pressed down and twisted on the conveyor belt. While waiting in the first aid area, the employee passed out, fell backward, and hit her head on the concrete floor. She was hospitalized with a right arm injury from the elbow down, right knuckle abrasions, and a head injury.
