An employee approached a folding machine that was folding metal plates. As he was putting on his personal protective equipment, one of his gloves fell into a gap between the work table and the edge of the machine. He was reaching into the gap for his gloves when the machine started. The positioning bar then moved, catching and lacerating his right forearm.
