Incident Narrative

An employee was on an orchard ladder pruning trees using a pole pruner. The spring component of the pruner caught on a limb. When the employee attempted to move the pole to make another cut, the pole pulled him off balance. The employee fell 10 feet from the ladder to the ground, landing on his right foot. He sustained a fracture to the right heel.
