Incident Narrative

An employee was working on a compressor and attempting to dump a scrubber on the compressor. At the time, the scrubber would not dump because it had frozen up. The employee opened a valve and gas began to exit the valve, causing a flash fire. He sustained second and third degree burns on the face and hand, requiring hospitalization.
