The injured employee was building scaffolding in a stairwell when another employee approached from behind, struck him in the back of the head and then pushed him down the stairs, approximately 6 feet. The injured employee was hospitalized with a subdural hematoma, lacerations to the back of the head, lacerations to the face/lips, and contusions to the back.
