Incident Narrative

An employee was standing on the floor of a drilling rig while hooking up a Kelly hose to a pipe. The hose struck him below the left shoulder blade, and he rolled off the rig and fell to the ground. He suffered kidney trauma, broken ribs, and a liver laceration.
