Incident Narrative
An employee was grinding the end of a 30-inch diameter, 40-foot long spiral steel pipe. The pipe was spinning and was set on fixed rotating wheels. The employee was in line with the V-roller line which brings pipe to the rotation station. The V-roller line engaged, sending a pipe in a south to north track. The employee was caught between the moving pipe and the pipe that was on the rotating wheels. The employee was hospitalized for an abrasion.
