Incident Narrative

An employee was taking product from a drum and placing it on a chute that leads to the rework area. The employee's right hand made contact with a conveyor adjacent to the chute and became caught between the conveyor belt and the conveyor frame. The employee sustained the amputation of the right pinky fingertip.
