Incident Narrative

An employee had just concluded pumping fish from the fish hold on a vessel. He climbed out of the fish hold from a fixed ladder and then slipped from the main deck of the vessel, falling approximately 9 feet backwards into the fish hold and landing on his back. He was hospitalized with a stable fracture to the back.
