Incident Narrative

An employee was using a half-gallon metal transfer ladle. After she finished the transfer process, the kettle sat on a hot plate. She was clearing a wax chunk from its inside lip when the chunk fell into the kettle and splashed hot wax on her hand. She suffered burns to both hands (mainly the back of the right hand) and possibly on the back of her neck.
