Incident Narrative

At about 11:45 a.m. on July 8, 2019, an employee was working with a crane operator to flip a sheet of steel piling with two shakeout hooks hung from the crane. While the sheet of piling was being lifted, a hook became dislodged and struck the employee in the right leg, breaking the tibia. The employee was hospitalized.
