Incident Narrative
An employee was reconfiguring a 1" airline. The employee's hand was on a 90-degree fitting while a co-worker turned the pipe using an 18-inch pipe wrench. The employee's hand then became caught between the 90-degree fitting and a steel skid, resulting in a fractured left ring finger and nail avulsion that required surgery.
