Incident Narrative
The injured employee asked the skinner operator for a long hook that was hanging over a meat conveyor. As the skinner operator retrieved the hook, the injured employee's right hand became caught in the skinner roller and the blade amputated three fingertips. There are no guards along the edges of the top of the skinner.
