Incident Narrative

An employee was removing finished spools from the stranding machine. As he lifted the spool, the end of the wire got caught on the side of the cradle that supports the spool. He grabbed the wire to dislodge it and was struck on the chest by the wire causing a laceration/contusion. He was hospitalized.
