Incident Narrative
An employee was threading a 12" tail into the lead-out roll under the thru air dryer on a paper machine when the paper tail fell out. The employee went to manually tuck it into the nip point, and his right arm was drawn into the roller. He suffered a third degree burn to the right forearm that required hospitalization.
