An employee was sanding/deburring the edge of an S-hook part against a sanding belt when the S-hook's open end slipped over the edge of the sanding belt drive wheel, pinching the employee's hands between the S-hook and the sanding belt's lower guard. His right middle finger was lacerated, requiring hospitalization.
