Incident Narrative

An employee was using an air gun to remove paper from a cylinder. The air gun struck their left hand causing a laceration and compressed air was injected into their left arm. The employee was hospitalized that evening with pneumomediastinum and subcutaneous emphysema in the left chest wall and neck.
