Incident Narrative

An employee was using a chop saw to cut pieces of wood. He made a cut with the chop saw and moved back to his workstation with the piece of wood. He went to make an additional cut. The chop saw blade was still spinning from the previous cut when his left hand contacted the moving blade, causing a laceration between the index finger and the thumb.
