Incident Narrative
An employee was running a lathe to finish a repaired shaft. The employee was using sandpaper to finish the shaft when the employee's shirt was caught in a rotating piece, pulling the employee's arm and hand into the rotating piece. The employee suffered a left ear laceration as well as a broken left arm, wrist, and hand. The employee's left little finger had to be surgically amputated.
