An employee was on the fourth floor of a building under construction. The employee was discussing getting welding leads down from up above to ground level. When the employee looked down to see where the welding cables would go, the wooden safety railing failed and the employee fell approximately 25 feet. The employee fractured their right arm, sternum, and two vertebrae in their back.
