On February 19, 2019, an employee was lowering a purlin onto a rack using an overhead crane. The employee had one hand on the control pendant and one hand on the chain. When the purlin was placed, it rotated and pinched the tip of the left ring finger between the chain and the purlin resulting in a partial amputation.
