An employee was checking on equipment in the area where a 55 gallon drum of cleaner was located. The drum is hooked up to a pump and oven and set to clean the oven on an automatic timer. The automatic timer went off while the employee was in the area and he was sprayed with the cleaning chemical, causing chemical burns to the face.
