Incident Narrative

An employee was part of a team unloading material from a truck. The employee was waiting for the forklift to pick up the next crate when the crates fell over due to a gust of wind. The fallen crates (weighing approximately 1,500 pounds) pinned the employee's leg to the truck bed. He was hospitalized with a broken right leg and required surgery.
