An employee was setting up foil wrap on a new wrap machine. He reached into his back pocket with his right hand while his left hand remained in contact with the machine. His left hand then slid and contacted the blades of the running machine, resulting in a partial left middle fingertip amputation. The blades were guarded at the time of the incident.
