Incident Narrative

On January 23, 2019, a temporary employee was operating laser cutting equipment. As the employee lifted a part out of the laser nest with a magnetic lift and chain hoist, one of the employee's fingers got stuck between the part and the laser nest. The fingertip was amputated.
