Incident Narrative
An employee was cutting beef shank on the meat saw. After getting toward the end of the shank the saw blade became caught in the bone and jerked the beef shank. This caused the employee's right index finger to be pulled into the saw blade resulting in the amputation of about two-thirds of the finger.
