Incident Narrative

Employees had just finished rerouting conduit and wiring beneath a rooftop air conditioning unit. The unit had been moved off its stand to access the wiring. While it was being lowered back onto the stand, an employee's right middle finger was caught between the unit and the stand. The fingertip was amputated at the top joint.
