Incident Narrative
An employee was standing on stilts installing acoustic ceiling grids. He saw a ladder leaned on a corner and a 3-foot diameter plastic ring on the ground. When he took a step, one of the stilts got caught against the ring throwing the employee off balance. As he attempted to regain balance with his other foot, the employee stepped on a piece of conduit lying on the ground causing him to slip and fall. The employee sustained a right femur fracture.
