Incident Narrative

An employee was using a table saw to cut a 45-degree angle. The saw kicked back during the cut and the employee's hand was forced into the saw blade. The employee suffered a cut on the right palm and a partial amputation of the fifth digit of the right hand. The saw was not guarded at the time.
