Incident Narrative

Two workers were separating a bundle of 2-3 angle iron bar joists. The injured employee was using a pry bar on the ground and was the "hook-on" man. He was separating the angle iron (30-feet length x 2ft. high) when a loose iron bar joist fell onto the employee's left leg crushing it.
