An employee was installing girt on the metal roof (30 degrees) of a newly built greenhouse from a scissor lift. He got off the scissor lift to nail down the top of the girt, then fell 26 feet through the roof to the ground, breaking his left leg and injuring his neck. He was hospitalized. Fall protection was not being worn at the time of the incident.
