Incident Narrative
An employee used a forklift to lift a hopper bin full of wood fines. When the employee pulled the release lever on the hopper, it rotated and allowed the contents to be released. The employee pushed the hopper to release the remaining material. The hopper then rolled back, striking the employee's left ring finger. The employee sustained broken finger bones and a laceration. Gloves were not worn at the time of the incident.
