Incident Narrative
An employee was spraying and cleaning metal rollers near a conveyor belt that was in a raised position to clean underneath it. She tried to pull a piece of meat out from between the metal rollers when her right hand was pulled in by the moving conveyor belt. She sustained a broken right index finger and had her right ring and middle fingers surgically amputated. The belt was moving at the time of the incident.
