Incident Narrative
An employee was supervising mechanics who were attempting to replace a gauge roller s drive motor. The mechanics had begun to lift the replacement drive motor and frame assembly with a motorized material handling device when the motor and frame assembly began to move off of the forks and tipped over, making contact with the injured employee's right foot. He then fell and his leg impacted the floor, fracturing his right ankle and tibia. He was hospitalized.
