Incident Narrative

An employee was wrecking a framework on a commercial construction building. As he was unclamping his harness, the anchor broke and he slipped and fell approximately 14 feet to the ground. He suffered a lacerated left eyelid, lacerated left knee, spinal fractures at the L1 and L2 vertebrae, and a hematoma of the bladder. He was hospitalized.
