Incident Narrative

An employee was on a 28-foot extension ladder, trying to reach a clogged gutter drain with an auger and gardening spade. While he had one foot on the gutter and one on the ladder, the ladder shifted and he fell to the ground. He suffered three fractured vertebrae, two compressed vertebrae, bruises to his arms, and a bruise to the back of his head.
