Incident Narrative

An employee was stacking a piece of 2x12x24 lumber with a second employee when the second employee dropped his end of the lumber, causing it to fall out of the first employee's hand. While attempting to grab the falling lumber, the first employee's right middle fingertip was caught between the lumber and a nearby pole, resulting in a partial amputation.
