An employee was installing a metal roof on a building, lost footing, and fell to the deck. The employee slid approximately 16 ft on 4/12 pitch roof. The employee then fell off the roof edge 13 feet to ground. The employee sustained a fractured L2 vertebra and a fractured wrist.
