Incident Narrative

An employee was working on a balcony about 12 feet high, removing the railing in preparation to work on the balcony floor. After removing the railing, the employee fell to the concrete pavement below. The employee suffered a fractured skull and ribs, broken vertebrae and collarbone and a bruised lung. Fall protection was not worn at the time.
