Incident Narrative
The injured employee was attempting to move a rack of chicken product when the roller that held a roll of plastic wrap fell catching the employee's right index finger between the roller and the frame. A second employee attempted to assist the injured employee and lifted the roller off the employee's hand. The employee shifted their hand and the roller fell a second time. The roller landed on the injured employee's hand causing their right index finger to be caught in the frame resulting in a fingertip amputation.
