Incident Narrative
An employee bent down to retrieve his keys, which had fallen on the ground in the loading dock area. As he grabbed them, he lost his balance and used the dock's railing to support himself. The railing then collapsed and he fell about 5 feet to the concrete floor, suffering two broken ribs and a fractured pelvis. He was hospitalized.
