Incident Narrative
An employee had cleaned drill pipe threads with rags containing chemical cleaner and then threw the rags into the back of a work truck. Exhaust from a generator inside the truck ignited the rags. The employee grabbed the rags and his coveralls caught fire. He received burns to his hands, stomach, thighs, and lower legs.
