Incident Narrative

An employee finished using a vehicle-mounted boom arm/crane to load clean-out tubs and was retracting the stabilizers when he was caught between a stabilizer and the truck. The employee's spine, mid-torso, and abdomen were crushed, causing internal injuries that required hospitalization and surgery.
